Seeing machinery in action is the best way to understand what it can really do. That’s why our team took a trip to China to see our new partner’s crushing and screening equipment first hand.

Onetrak has recently become XCMG’s exclusive dealer for Crushing and Screening Australia-wide, and we’re in the process of introducing the new range to our existing lineup. Our Onetrak Crushing and Screening customers have been asking for more details about our new partnership, so we put together a team to meet with XCMG and see what their crushing and screening equipment are really capable of.

Representing Onetrak on the trip were David Hazell (Managing Director of Onetrak), Clifford Wadge (Territory Manager in WA, SA & NT for Crushing & Screening) and Heiner Guenzel (Business Manager, Crushing & Screening). Our journey itinerary included visiting one of XCMG’s current large-scale customers, exploring the XCMG construction facility, and meeting with their knowledgeable engineering team.

When choosing our suppliers, Onetrak always focuses on robust and reliable crushing and screening machinery designed to meet our Australian customer’s needs. So, getting to see these machines in-person was an exciting opportunity.

‍

Seeing XCMG Equipment in Action

Our team travelled from Australia, heading up through Shanghai, to the Chinese district of Hami. Here we visited one of XCMG’s prominent customers and watched aggregates being processed by a full crushing and screening train of XCMG machines.

Seeing the machines on site and in-person gave us the opportunity to observe how XCMG equipment works as part of a full production line, not just as individual machines.

The XCMG crushers and XCMG mobile screening equipment in the train demonstrated a great combination of machines for aggregate production and our team was impressed with the results. The XCMG Machines featured  on the day included:

XPE0912 Track Mounted Jaw Crusher
Built for high-volume production, XCMG crushing equipment’s reliable backbone in this train was the XPE0912. With features like automatic feeding, easy hydraulic adjustment, remote operation and dust suppression and magnetic separation, the XPE0912 helped deliver safer, cleaner and more efficient processing.

‍

XFY1100 Track Mounted Cone Crusher
The XPY1100 combines a powerful 1,160mm cone crusher with a 300 HP engine. Its track-mounted design makes it easy to move between operations, and ideal as a versatile mobile crushing solution in Australia. Watching the overall output delivered using just XCMG mobile crushers was impressive to watch.

‍

‍

XFY1548 Track Mounted Scalping Screen
‍
Built for tough screening applications, the XFY1548 features a heavy-duty hopper and feeder to handle large, abrasive materials. Flexible screen options, easy setup and wireless remote control make it adaptable and simple to operate on site.

‍

XFT1860 Mobile Screening Station
‍
The final machine in the train delivered high-volume screening. The XFT1860 features a large 1,930x6,100mm screening area and track-mounted design for easy movement around sites. A practical solution for efficient, flexible material processing for final stockpiling.

‍

The productivity XCMG screening equipment can deliver was a real highlight and the resulting product from the XFT1860 was great to see, as we know many operations in Australia are interested in aggregate screening equipment with consistent output and reliable fines.

Together, the equipment produced aggregate in sizes of -20mm, 12mm, and 4mm, which aligns with common material sizes regularly produced by Onetrak customers in the Crushing and Screening sector.

While visiting, Heiner Guenzel simulated a tailored package based on the aggregate crushing equipment setup shown during our site visit. Processing through the crushing and screening train, the XCMG machines aligned with Onetrak’s own recommended setup to produce optimal tonnes per hour aggregate production.

‍

Utilising aggflow, Onetrak and XCMG are able to tailor machine packages to improve operation productivity. That means lower-running costs, and increasing output results.

‍

Production, Availability and Support

During our visit to the worksite, we were able to chat with the XCMG customer about their experiences with our new suppliers. They expressed enthusiasm about the reliability, availability and overall production performance that the XCMG equipment offered their operation, as well as the ongoing world-wide and dedicated regional support provided by XCMG. As a dedicated service provider ourselves, its always good to know our partners have similar values in terms of quality after sales service.

For Australian operators looking for new crushing and screening equipment, real-world results matter as much as the specs. The equipment must work reliably, stay productive, and have good on-going support. Seeing these machines in operation and hearing directly from existing customers, gave the Onetrak team greater confidence in our partnership with XCMG and what it can offer Australian crushing and screening operators.

‍

Inside the XCMG Production Facility

We then travelled to Xuzhou, where one of XCMG’s main production facilities is located to see how these amazing machines are developed and constructed.

‍

During the visit, the Onetrak team toured the XCMG Road Equipment Factory, including the area that handles crushing and screening equipment.

A wide range of XCMG products where on display, from single stationary crushers to complex mobile crushing and screening units, all at different stages of production.

For Heiner Guenzel, Onetrak’s Business Manager for Crushing & Screening and a German-trained process engineer, the focus on quality and production scheduling stood out as some of the best he had seen. Many of the welding processes in the factory use CAD/CAM robotics, which guarantees a consistent high-level of quality components and joins.

We were also privileged to see how the engineering, design, and manufacturing of XCMG machines all come together. Teaming up with international designers, XCMG produce outstanding machines focused on achieving the best outcome for their crushing and screening clients.

Bringing Australian Requirements to the Table

Our trip was about more than just looking at machines, a major part of the visit was meeting with XCMG’s engineering and production teams. We wanted to discuss standards and ensure any machine supplied through Onetrak met all industry requirements for our customers. Our team discussed Australian standards, local conditions, and what our Australian customers needed from their Crushing & Screening machines.

Australian customers can work in very difficult environmental conditions, and some companies even use multiple industry processes (including quarrying, recycling, waste processing, and construction machines) in their operation all at the same time. Understanding these robust requirements helped Onetrak work with XCMG to ensure the equipment is relevant to the Australian market.

The team also spoke with international engineers and saw the high level of technical skill that goes into designing and developing XCMG machines. It was truely impressive and we are excited for future product development. There is a reason XCMG is among the top three manufacturers in the world.

Optimal Crushing & Screening Coming to Australia

Our trip to China has given Onetrak a valuable behind-the-scenes look at the people, engineering, and manufacturing that produce the XCMG crushing and screening range.

For Onetrak, the trip reinforced the strong potential of XCMG’s crushing and screening equipment in Australia, while highlighting the value our new partnership with XCMG brings to the industry.

With Australia-wide exclusivity for XCMG Crushing & Screening, Onetrak is helping to deliver a new range of mobile crushers, jaw crushers, cone crushers, and screening equipment for use across the country at a price we know our customers will appreciate.

With Onetrak’s local knowledge, strong sales network and industry experience, we’re building an exciting future for the Crushing & Screening sector. And as the team discovered on the trip, there’s no better way to understand what a machine can do than to see it in action. Onetrak are looking at running machine demonstrations across Australia to show our customers why we’re so excited to bring the new XCMG range of crushing and screening plant to our shores.
