The Norditek EC2000 Eddy Current Separator is the largest heavy-duty non-ferrous metal separator in the Norditek range, designed for higher-capacity recycling operations and applications requiring a wider processing area. With a 2,000mm separation width, the EC2000 uses powerful eddy current technology to recover aluminium, copper, brass, silver, gold, lead and other non-magnetic metals from mixed material streams. It is suitable for processing fractions from 0.5–200mm across applications including incinerator ash, C&D waste, industrial waste, baler waste, waste wood and organics.

An eccentric rotor design and high magnet strength provide effective non-ferrous metal recovery, including heavier NF metals, while an adjustable throw parabola and rubberised, frequency-controlled splitter roller allow separation performance to be fine-tuned for different materials. Three magnet configurations are available, with 12, 22 or 38 pole options, and the system can also incorporate ferrous metal removal before the material reaches the eddy current separator. Monitoring through a touch display provides operators with straightforward control over the separation process.

Unlike a fixed-specification machine, the Norditek EC2000 can be configured around the customer's material stream and processing requirements. Vibrating feeder or belt feeder arrangements are available.
