Norditek EC1000 Eddy Current Heavy Duty Separator

Recover More Value from Non-Ferrous Metals

The Norditek high-performing eddy current separators are developed in collaboration with leading magnet manufacturer Goudsmit Magnetics. These heavy-duty separators divide material between non-ferrous (NF) metals - such as aluminium, copper and brass - from mixed material streams. These separator units are fully mobile and can be adapted to specific applications. Different material fractions require different magnet configurations and different chassis layouts. So, talk to the team at Onetrak for advice on the best set up for your business.

About the

Norditek EC1000 Eddy Current Heavy Duty Separator

The Norditek EC1000 Eddy Current Separator is a heavy-duty non-ferrous metal separator designed to recover valuable metals from mixed waste and recycling streams. Developed in collaboration with leading magnet manufacturer Goudsmit Magnetics, the EC1000 uses powerful eddy current technology to separate non-magnetic metals such as aluminium, copper, brass, silver, gold and lead from surrounding material. It is well suited to incinerator bottom ash, C&D waste, industrial waste, baler waste, waste wood, organics and other mixed materials containing recoverable non-ferrous metals.

At the heart of the EC1000 eddy current separator is an eccentric rotor design that creates the magnetic force required to eject conductive non-ferrous metals from the material stream. High magnet strength makes this metals separator effective on heavier NF metals, while an adjustable throw parabola, hydraulically adjustable distribution roller and rubberised frequency-controlled splitter roller allow operators to fine-tune separation performance for different material fractions. Multiple magnet configurations are also available on the eddy current to suit different recycling and recovery requirements.

The Norditek EC1000 metal separator combines strong separation performance with straightforward operator control. Sequence control and monitoring are managed through a touch display. The heavy-duty design can process a wide variety of fraction sizes and mixed waste streams, making the EC1000 Eddy Current a versatile piece of metal separation equipment for businesses focused on recovering high-value recyclable materials.

Built on a Windshifter chassis with independently adjustable leg heights, the EC1000 Eddy Current can be integrated into different processing layouts and combined with other Norditek machines. Options include adding a ferromagnetic pre-separation with a drum magnet, output belts, heavy-duty drop conveyors, choosing between plain or chevron conveyor belts, to allow operators to configure the metal separator around their specific recycling process and desired material outputs.

For Australian businesses looking for an eddy current separator for sale, recycling separator, non-ferrous separator or adaptable waste processing equipment, the Norditek EC1000 provides a practical solution for recovering aluminium, copper, brass and other valuable non-ferrous metals from mixed material streams. Available through Onetrak for purchase or rent-to-buy, the Norditek EC1000 Eddy Current can be integrated into modular recycling systems for metal recovery, waste management, C&D processing, wood recycling and organics applications.
