The Genesis GXT EVO Mobile Shear is the next evolution of the proven GXT range, designed for high-production scrap processing, metal recycling and demolition applications. Built to work with suitable material handlers and excavators, the GXT EVO heavy equipment attachments provide powerful cutting performance for processing scrap metal, structural steel, demolition material and other heavy waste. Available across 19 models, the range gives recycling operators and scrapyards the flexibility to match the hydraulic shear attachment to their preferred carrier and operating requirements.

The GXT EVO scrap shear introduces several design improvements to the already popular GXT Shears that aim to increase strength, cutting efficiency and durability in demanding recycling worksites. An improved stick design uses fewer weld joints, while the redesigned pivot incorporates dual pucks to reduce stress on structural components. A narrower shear body with solid pivot wraps further strengthens the attachment, while short primary cutting blades position the cutting apex further back in the jaw, drawing material into the area where higher force can be applied for efficient cuts. The bolt-on piercing tip also encapsulates the front of the upper jaw, helping protect the shear while reducing welding build-up and associated downtime.

Designed with serviceability and compatibility in mind, the Genesis GXT EVO shear attachment features an innovative regen tray mounting system that allows the tray to move independently of the shear body, an improved cover retention system and unified head and lugs to increase compatibility between attachments. Existing GXT blade kits are also compatible with equivalent EVO models, helping simplify shear parts management for operators already running Genesis equipment.
