  • Onetrak is seeking an experienced Territory Manager - Forestry (Capital Machinery Sales) based within Victoria or South Australia (Green Triangle area) to drive sales growth and service our existing customers throughout these regions.
  • Onetrak has been the proud national dealer for Tigercat for over 15 years

  • OTE package over $200k inclusive of base salary, commissions, superannuation and fully maintained company vehicle.
  • Develop and increase sales in machines, servicing and parts for the forestry sector.
  • Provide high level technical advice and to enable the highest possible customer experience.
  • Be provided with aftersales and service support from our Hallam, Mount Gambier and Albany facilities plus Onetrak's national network of branches and Residential Technicians.
  • Tigercat factory visits and OEM training opportunities.

About you:

  • You are driven and motivated to develop new relationships and win new business.
  • Proven experience in capital equipment sales and development of new product lines.
  • Understanding and application knowledge of forestry machinery.
  • Operational experience with forestry equipment (desirable).
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills both written and oral and proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently.
  • You possess a full vehicle driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities in the forestry industry for key franchises including Tigercat and complementary equipment lines (i.e. excavators and other Onetrak products relevant to the forestry sector).
  • Establish relationships with new customers and maintain contact with existing customers to promote Onetrak's forestry products and services.
  • Promote and support all areas of the business within the territory and bring other Onetrak staff into opportunities to maximise sales potential and the strength of Onetrak as required.
  • Provide specialist advice to customers and maintain technical proficiency on equipment to complement a good sales technique.
  • Respond to sales inquiries within the forestry industry to secure new business by prospecting and cold calling on potential customers.
  • Conduct evaluations of used equipment.
  • Support the delivery of forestry machines including hands on management of the sale – from factory discussion to machine hand-over.
  • Develop, maintain and monitor market share targets.
  • Establish and maintain technical proficiency on equipment to complement a good sales technique and pass onto sales teams.
  • Deliver on key performance indicators and targets
  • Provide weekly updates on current prospects, lost sales and market information
